Will a stairlift fit on my stairs?

Here at Simply Stairlifts we can offer a range of high quality stairlifts to fit most staircases. So the chances are we have stairlift that will not only fit your needs but will fit you staircase.

How much does a stairlift cost?

There’s many different styles, manufactures and can depend on staircase configuration a with stairlift so putting price on it can be difficult.

A typical New Straight stairlift cost is from £1500 and a typical curved stairlift cost is from £3900.

We can offer reconditioned lifts starting from £900 for straight and Curves from £2600.

As an alternative option we can do rental stairlifts starting from £300 initial installation cost and £50 per month for a straight and £1800 for curved and £75.00 pm.

We will always come out and complete a free no obligation survey so that we can assess your staircase and you, so we can pick the right staiirlift for you and your home.

Is a survey necessary?

Yes. It is important that a survey has taken place before you make a purchase. A full assessment will be made of your staircase and you to ensure the stairlift fits in you home, meets your needs and is safe to use. This process is free and there will be no obligation.

What is the delivery time?

Delivery time can vary. For straight lift if we have the correct one in stock it could be installed next day if not anything up to 5 days. With curved as the rail will have to drawn out per our staircase assessment and then approved and then manufactured this can take between 5 days and 3 weeks dependent on manufacture.

What warranty comes with a stairlift?

All our new lifts come standard with a 2 year comprehensive warranty with options to extend it to 3, 4 or 5 years. Our reconditioned lifts come with a 1 year warranty as standard also with options to extend. rental lifts are covered for aslong as the rental period.

How often should I have my stairlift be serviced?

We advice that your lift is serviced yearly if it is in your private home, if it is in public place eg, doctors surgery then we advice every 6months to ensure all functions and safety devices are working correctly.

Do you offer extended warranty packages?

Yes we do, dependant on age and condition we offer a range of extended warranty packages. All warranty packages will include a service at the end of each year. If you would like more information on this please contact a member of staff and they can talk you through or send out all the information that you need.

Will Simply stairlifts come out even if you didn't install it?

Yes we will our fully qualified engineers are trained on almost every stairlift so no matter what the make and model we are prepared. We can also offer extended warranties on lifts if your current warranty has expired.
