We are aware that many of our customers and clients are concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK. We would like to reassure all our customers that we take the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic very seriously.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, potential customers and everyone who works for and with Simply Stairlifts is paramount.
In addition to following the latest NHS and Government guidelines Simply Stairlifts have implemented the following steps as precautionary measures:
- To minimise the risk of exposure or spreading of germs and bacteria, before booking home visits we ask potential customers and customers if anyone we are visiting feels unwell; or has been in contact with anyone that feels unwell or has recently returned from high risk countries or regions.
- Our staff will use equipment such as disposable face masks and gloves whenever appropriate
- Ensure social distancing measures are in place – our team will stay at least two metres from you and where possible not be in the same room.
- If any members of staff have symptoms of this illness they will stay at home and self-isolate immediately, taking advice from the medical profession.
- We have sanitising wipes in our office, showroom and vehicles.
- We are washing our hands regularly with hand sanitizer products
- Wiping down any surfaces with anti-bacterial spray, that may come into contact with ourselves and customers
- Our team wherever possible, will wash their hands during and after the visit for at least 20 seconds following the guidelines for washing hands on the Government website. If this is not possible they will use antibacterial wipes or sanitiser on completion of the visit.
- Deep clean all hire items thoroughly.
- We will be carrying out more in-depth cleaning with suitable disinfectant products, particularly on contact areas such as door handles, desks, phones, keyboards, and computer mice.
